Video iPod will not have A/V cables, which is useful in displaying images onto the Television Screen but it can download the TV shows onto the the iPod and it is possible with a Disk with itunes6.
Video iPod is different from previous iPods, it looks more flat and it does not have the round curves that were present in the previous iPods. The size of the screen is 2.5" which have a capability of playback video with an output capability of 30 frames per second. Dock can be connected to bottom half of the iPod, head phone jack and hold are on the top of the iPod.
The new features that were added to the Video iPod are it has a calender, screen lock and various features that enhances the functionality of the iPod. The most important feature of this iPod is it does not have Firewire cable.The video iPod also supports the audio formats including AAC,WAV etc.,
The most important feature of video iPod is the screen which looks bigger than the screen of the older iPods and the screen resolution is extremely good when compared to the older iPods. Though the size of the screen is same as the older iPods it looks bigger because it streches more towards the corners. Apart from the Audio Formats it also supports high quality Video formats like H.264.
